Preparing for large-scale July 4 holiday celebrations and events around Washington, DC area police forces must coordinate their security preparations, sifting through and evaluating leads, and eventually conducting an investigation in the aftermath of an attack.
Different agencies uncover different -- and sometimes contradictory -- leads and information as they work together to determine what is or is not true, to identify the perpetrators, and to protect public safety.
Roles include the US Capitol Police, DC Metropolitan PD, FBI, Metro Transit PD, Arlington County PD, Montgomery County PD, Prince George's County PD.
A detailed scenario is provided along with private role sheets to give participants additional information about their assigned role.
